Step 1: Download and install Video Converter for Mac.

Download Video Converter for Mac here and install it following the installation wizard instructions.

Step 2: Load video files into the program.

Go to the menu bar, select "File" menu, and then choose "Load Media Files" to to load video files you want, you can also directly drag & drop the file to the program, batch imported are supported, so that you can import several multimedia files at one time.

If you want to join several video files into a big file, Just Check "Merge All Videos" button on the bottom, or head to File menu > Merge > to merge all files into one.

Step 3: Select Output Profile

Simply choose an output video/audio format at the bottom format tray. Also you are allowed to select your preferred audio and subtitle stream for your video. After that you can click "Output" button to specify destination folder for saving output files.

If you want to edit your video files, just highlight the video you want to edit and clicking the edit pen icon on the video item bar, then you can do trimming, cropping, deinterlacing adjustment and adding watermark or special features to your files.

Trim: Click "Trim" button. Clip video duration by setting start time and end time to keep the segment you want, or directly drag the slider to the exact point.

Crop: Click "Crop" button to customize the frame size (16:9, 4:3 etc) and cut off black margins

Rotation: Revolve the video to the needed angle. You can achieve horizontal flip & vertical flip, or realize to rotate 90° clockwise and rotate 90° counterclockwise.

Effect: Click "Effect" button to set video brightness, contrast, and saturation for better output quality.

Watermark: Check "Enable Watermark", and click "Image Watermark" or "Text Watermark" to add watermark to the video, then adjust the Transparency, Margin, and Watermark Size.

Subtitle: In the Subtitle tab, you can load an external subtitle file (.ssa, .ass, .srt) to burn to video. If you don't have a subtitle file yet, go to opensubtitles.org to search and download one for free.

Capture Screenshot: You are able to capture a screenshot while preview a video and save to JPG image by clicking the Snapshot button under the preview window.

 

How to download online video on Mac

To download video files, switch to Download tab first. Then use the built-in web browser to find the video you like. While the video is playing, there will be a Download button appears on the top of the video. Simply click it to download the video to your Mac.

Another way to download online video is by dragging and dropping video URL from the built-in browser to the Media Browser. To open Media Browser, click the button at the top right corner of the primary window.

In the Download tab of Media Browser, you'll see the downloaded and downloading video in the list. To convert a downloaded file, drag and drop it to the item tray of the app.
