How to Back Up iPhone 8 (Plus) to Windows 7 Laptop or Desktop

Step 1: Connect the iPhone 8 (Plus) to Windows 7 PC

When you enter into the software, you'll see four options at the left side of the window. Choose "More tools" to go on.

You'll enter into a window that includes three modes. To have iPhone 8 backed up to Windows 7 computer, you need to select "iOS Data Backup & Restore" from there.

After connection, move back to the program's window and you will be presented with two selections — "iOS Data Backup" and "iOS Data Restore", like the following screenshot. Step 2: Choose file types to be backed up

Then you will see a list of types of data showed up on the window. By default, those file types have been selected already. If you are going to back up some of specific types of data, you can check the ones which you want to back up on iPhone 8 to Windows 7 desktop or laptop, uncheck others.

Step 3: Start the iPhone 8 (Plus) data backup process

Once the selection completes, click on "Next" button. This will start the process of backing iPhone 8 (Plus) data files to Windows 7 computer.
