How to retrieve notes on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus [4 ways]

Native Notes app on iPhone 6 (Plus) is a good place to store any contents to keep around handy. It provides users the options to create checklists, make business schedules, capture thoughts and more. It also has the ability to secure the notes by setting a password.

While the password keeps the notes extra safe, there's no guarantee that those password-protected notes will always be where they are.   • Open Notes app. Tap the Back arrow to back to notes menu.
  • Tap Recently Deleted album. This album contains all the notes deleted in the last 30 days.
  • Tap Edit in the upper right corner and then tap the notes you want to save to select them.
  • Tap Move to... in the bottom and then select the folder you want to move notes to.

The notes will be removed from Recently Deleted album and go back to iPhone 6 (Plus) notes list.

Step 1: Connect iPhone 6 (Plus) and make a full scan

4. Retrieve Notes from iTunes Backup

The steps outlined above are simple and easy if you've synced notes with iCloud. But what if you don't turn the Notes toggle on? You've still got a option restore notes on iPhone 6 (Plus) by using iTunes backup if you made before.

  • Plug in iPhone 6 (Plus) to the computer, and launch iTunes.
  • Click on the iPhone icon in the top left corner when it's connected.
  • In Summary tab, click Restore Backup...
  • Select a latest backup and click the Restore button.

The downside is that restoring notes from iTunes backup is a full restore operation, which will replace all current data on the device with the data included in the backup. But if you're desperate and the lost notes are important for you, it works.
