When upgrading from one smartphone to another on the same operating system, transferring the existing data to your new handset is easy. But the problem starts when you switch from Android to iOS and vice versa. You are going to have a hard time with the task of getting your data from an handset transferred to your new phone that's running a different OS.

If you have just got you hands on a shiny new iPhone, one of the first things you'll want to do is to migrate contacts from old ZTE phone (AXON 7, ZMAX Pro, Citrine LTE, whatever) to the new iPhone. In this article, we'll talk about how to transfer ZTE phone contacts to iPhone and vice versa with three different of approaches. You can go down any of them depending on your needs.

Use A Google Account or iCloud

If you just want to migrate contacts from ZTE phone to the new iPhone, you can use a Google account the accomplish the task. In case your world revolves around Google's Android, your contacts probably already be associated with your Gmail account. If not, create a new one.

  • Open your ZTE handset.
  • Go to Settings > Accounts and Sync (or similar) > Sync Contacts. Your ZTE contacts and Google Contacts will now synchronize.

Now, you should find that your contacts from ZTE smartphone are on your iPhone.

Use An iOS-Android Migration Tool

If you're looking for a hassle-free way to not only make contacts (names, titles, addresses, and everything else) transferring between two phones, but move your other stuff such as photos, videos, music, calendars, call logs, text messages, Phone Transfer is the tool you can stick with. It can transfer everything from one device to another irrespective of the platforms quickly and easily.

In addition, the tool gives you ability to backup your phone data onto computer, or retrieve files from your previous iTunes/ iCloud backup.

It isn't the most elegant solution, but if you only have a small list of contacts to transfer, or if you want complete control over the process, you can easily use E-mail service to make the ZTE contacts moved to your iPhone.

  • Go to the Contacts app on your ZTE phone.
  • Tap the contact you want to transfer.
  • In pop-up menu, tap Share button, and then select E-mail or Message service.
